A digital banking platform provided by ATIB, using one of the world's best digital banking software, allows you to carry out various transactions, such as money transfers, cheques, and card management, in an easy way

When you subscribe to ATIB Online, you will be able to manage your cards and accounts in ATIB from your home or from your mobile phone from anywhere as long as you are connected to the Internet

  1. From the homepage, click "Enrollment/Activate," then click on "Enroll now" button
  2. Enter your Customer ID, your phone number (without 00 or +) then your birthday in MM\DD\YYYY format
  3.  You will receive an email with your username and OTP via SMS
  4. Click on the link on the email, or go to ATIB Online and go to [Enroll/Activate] section.
  5. Choose “Activate your account”
  6. Enter the username that you have received over the email and then activation code, The OTP that you have received over SMS to your registered phone number
  7. Contact ATIB Call Center if you have faced any issues in the enrollment process

Report the loss or theft of the phone by communicating with the bank through the available channels such as phone numbers, the official website of the bank or Facebook page

Yes, when you log in to ATIB Online via the website or mobile app an encrypted connection is established between your device and our systems, and it is secured using the latest security protocols adopted in banking operations. However it's important to adhere to digital safety standards such as choosing a strong password and not sharing it with anyone as well as enabling biometric access options whenever possible

These protocols protect data in 3 keyways:

  1. Authentication: ensures that you are communicating with the bank only and protects impersonation by another computer
  2.  Encryption scrambles transferred data so that it cannot be read by unauthorized parties
  3.  Data integrity, in terms of data and network security, assures that information can only be accessed and modified by those authorized to do so

Yes you can ATIB Online from anywhere in the world with the same level of security

ATIB Online can be used on desktop or laptop computers, tablets and smart mobile phones, and your experience will not be affected by the screen size on which these services are offered. You can use any type of browsers such as Chrome Firefox Microsoft Edge and Safari

Yes it is safe to use ATIB Online on mobile browser. However it is recommended that you logout and close your browser after performing online banking

Yes You can both use the same computer to sign into your individual online banking account via ATIB Online safely you won't see each other's information. There's no limit to how many people can sign into online banking from the same computer Just remember not to share your Username and Password

Yes you can access ATIB Online from multiple computers with the same level of security

Yes You can place a request for a new card from your mobile/web browser ATIB Connect

Following are the options available to manage your card on ATIB Online:

  1. Block Card  
  2. Top-up ATIB prepaid card
  3. View card transaction details

Login into your mobile/web browser app
Go to "Manage Card" section, select the required card and click on the block the card option

You can unblock only the travel card that you've blocked on ATIB Online with mobile/web browser application the card can then be used to perform all transactions.
Note: Cards blocked from bank side can't be unblocked by your end also to unblock your local cards you will need to contact ATIB Call Center

ATIB Financing Services are not available now but they will be announced as soon as they are launched and then these services can be requested via ATIB Online

Yes you can transfer money within your eligible accounts in the bank from ATIB Online application mobile and the web browser

You can make the following types of fund transfers: 

  1. To your own accounts in the same bank
  2. To others in the same bank

Yes You can schedule future-dated transfers. Standing order transfers can be made at regular intervals such as daily, weekly, monthly, etc

Yes you can cancel and stop all the pending and upcoming transfers in case of standing orders

This service provides you with transferring a certain amount on a daily , weekly, annual basis to one of your accounts or one of the beneficiaries’  accounts

Yes through ATIB Online you can print any notification when carrying out a transaction printing an account statement or saving transactions directly by clicking on the Print button it is also possible to keep an electronic copy of the account statement by exporting as pdf by clicking on the download  button

According to the legislation of the Central Bank of Libya foreign currencies are only sold through the Foreign Currency Management System (FCMS) this service follows a separate process from ATIB Online

A Direct Card is a card in which money is debited directly from the cardholder's current account when making any financial transaction with this card whether the transaction is related to a purchase from a store or point of sale or a cash withdrawal from an ATM without the need to top up the card via a mobile app or visit a branch as in the case of prepaid cards

The ATIB Card is a prepaid card that allows you to control your budget by recharging it with a specific amount through the ATIP Online App within the limits approved by the bank the Direct Card is a debit card that does not require pre-recharge but allows you to directly access your current account balance and use your money freely making it a safe alternative to carrying cash

To obtain a Direct Card you must have a current local currency account with ATIB

If you have a current account with ATIB, you can request your Direct card easily through ATIB Online or via SMS by texting 19000 with "Direct" or "دايركت" and following the received steps (Note: ATIB may ask you to provide a copy of your national number/passport to update your account information if they need to be updated)

You can use ATIB's Direct Card to over +10K accepted POSs across Libya with the sign of Tadawul Network and dozens of ATMs in all major Libyan cities

No the Direct Card is a local debit card in Libyan Dinars, it cannot be used outside Libya

Yes The Direct Card meets high-security standards, featuring an embedded smart chip encryption technology for all financial transactions and a 3D Secure policy for online purchases

When you receive your Direct Card, you will also receive an SMS through the Electronic Payment service containing your 4-digit PIN. Keep your PIN in a safe place and never share it with anyone to protect the security of your funds

You can change your Direct Card PIN at any ATIB ATM if you forget your PIN you can request a new one through the ATIB Online platform or by contacting the ATIB Call Center

Only you know your PIN Never share it with anyone not family members ATIB staff or even the police

For your security and to maintain better control over your expenses you can only have one Direct Card linked to your account however you may request multiple prepaid ATIB Cards if you need additional cards

The Direct Card is valid until the last day of the month shown in the expiry date printed on the front of the card

Travel Card Add your question

To obtain a Travel Card, you must have an active account with ATIB

The ATIB Mastercard® Prepaid Travel Card is subject to recharge limits set by the Central Bank of Libya.

No ATIB’s Mastercard® Prepaid Travel Card is an international card and can only be used abroad or on global online platforms

There are no additional fees for using your contactless card however standard fixed fees still apply

The limit for contactless transactions without entering your PIN is $50 (or the equivalent in other foreign currencies) you can use contactless technology wherever you see the contactless symbol on the POS terminal, simply wave your card near the device after the seller enters the purchase amount to pay quickly and easily

Only you know your PIN never share it with anyone, not family members ATIB staff or even the police

The Mastercard® Prepaid Travel Card is valid until the last day of the month shown in the expiry date printed on the front of the card

ATM Add your question

You can reset your password through the ATIB app or by contacting the Customer Service Center at 1525

If the ATM retains your card please visit the branch nearest to the machine during working hours and bring valid identification

Safe Deposit Box Add your question

You can store and secure any legally permitted valuable possessions including gold currency, bonds coins stamps, antiques and works of art You can also keep important documents such as wills, certificates, photographs, and backups, whether in paper or electronic form safe inside the box

You must have an active account with ATIB complete the Safe Deposit Box Rental Form and submit it to a Customer Service Officer
